Hey Ash, do you remember?

Ashley Purdy, say this name and a lot of girls will go squealing around. Currently he's the bassist of Black Veil Brides. He's hot, sexy, he's talented, he can sing, he can play guitar, he can play bass… He can do everything if he wants to. One thing he can do what he shouldn't be proud of though, is break hearts.

It had been four weeks since he had broken up with Kristina, the girl he had been dating for over a year. He loved her, oh yes, he did, and she loved him. He was everything to her, her soulmate, but it didn't seem so the other way around. Ashley found a new girl who he had fallen in love with. First he ignored the feeling, but after a while he gave in to it and told Kristina about it. He still remembers the crying and cursing the day he broke up with her.  She was heartbroken, furious, sad, and even more of those feelings. After months of support he dumped her for a girl whose boobs were just a bit bigger and who loved sex just a little bit more than she did. Ashley didn't think he had seen her cry as much as she did that day. Yes, he did let some tears drop himself once he was alone, but she did mean a lot to him. He said they'd be best friend still, but since that day, they haven't spoken each other once.

Ashley sighed as he sat in the tour bus. They were on the way to their hometown. He was the only one awake, except for the driver. The rest of the guys were all sleeping still. The radio was on with some stupid channel. He sighed as he flicked through the channels till he got to their favorite rock Channel. He grabbed himself some breakfast and flopped down on the couch. He turned up the volume just a little bit and started to eat, until that moment…

"Welcome back to Rockstar's morning show! Right now we're still here with Kristina, who's going to sing us her song she wrote for her ex boyfriend, ain't that right?"

"Yes… Yes that's true… I wrote it about him… Maybe he won't hear it right now but… I just want to get it off of my chest, you know…"

"Alright girl, well, if you're ready you may start!"

There was a short silence. Ashley's jaw had dropped. Kristina had written a song about him?
After a while the sound of a guitar was heard, and it didn't last long before words were added.

"Hey Ash, how's life, are you okay?
I wonder if you ever think of me…
It's been a long while since that kiss
I can't help but reminisce!

It was just a silly dream…

Hey Ash, do you remember?"

When the song finished, the only thing Ashley could do was swallow. He didn't realize there were a few tears rolling down his cheek. As soon as he felt a tear drip on his hand he quickly wiped them away. The song was full of emotion, and he could feel his heart sting. All he could think of was holding her close, rocking her slowly and trying to cheer her up, just as he always did. He wished he could tell her he still loved her, and that he had made the worst mistake in his life. Cause he loved her, he surely did.

"That was a beautiful song, I think everyone could feel the emotion of it…"

"Well thank you… I sang it from the heart, I really did…"

"And we could all feel it… thank you for giving us this live performance! Do you have any plans for the rest of the day?"

"Well, I am going to the Black Veil Brides show tonight… and that's about it."

"Then I hope you'll have a good time!"

Ashley swallowed. Kristina would be at the show tonight. This was the one chance to get her back, to make up for the mistake he made four weeks ago. He had to admit that he wasn't as happy now as he was with her. Maybe this girl was a bit prettier, but her personality wasn't as pretty. He sighed, thinking of what he would do…

"Thank you for coming out to our show everyone! Rock on and we love you!" Andy yelled as they walked off stage. It had been one hell of a show, except for Ashley. Ashley had been busy trying to spot Kristina, which he knew would be impossible because of all the thousands of kids out there. He dumped his bass and quickly grabbed a drink before he wanted to skip out. He knew where Kristina would be right now. She always went to grab another drink before she would go home, just to avoid everyone who would run for the exit. Before Ashley could leave, Andy wrapped an arm around his shoulders.

"Heey man, where are you going?? Come on, let's party!"

Ashley sighed. "No man I… I've got to do something first…"

Andy raised an eyebrow. "What's that?"

"Something important, okay? I'll explain later but you have to let me go now… I'll be back for the party, I swear…"

Andy grunted a little before he let go of Ashley. Ashley immediately rushed out, trying to hide for the enormous storm of fangirls out there. He spotted Kristina and walked over to her, grabbing her shoulder and turning her to him. She gasped and wanted to slap him before she realized it was Ashley.

"A-Ash?! What… What are you doing?"

"I want to make up for that stupid mistake I made, I really do…"

She scoffed and looked down. "What, did that girl cheat on you? Didn't she want to have sex with you? Or isn't she here and are you just saying this to have sex with me?"

Ashley bit his lip and shook his head before pulling her to the side where nobody would notice them. "No Kristina… that's not it… I've heard your song this morning and I… it made me realize what an asshole I really am."

She looked up. "You heard my song?"

Ashley nodded and tucked her hair behind her ear. "I did, and it was beautiful… and touching… I can't deny I was crying…"

She blinked a little. "Crying? You… Oh come on Ash, you don't have to lie to me. You dumped me for her, if you just want to have sex with me, say it."

Ashley sighed and cupped her cheek. "I don't just want to have sex with you… I want more… Please forgive me for what I've done but I… I really want you back. I miss you. You were my baby girl and well… I don't think I've ever felt as happy as when I was with you…"

Kristina swallowed and looked into his eyes. She could see he wasn't lying, and started to tear up. All she ever wanted stood right in front of her, and still it was hard to give in to it. She was still hurt, but with that said, Ashley was the only one who could take her pain away.

Ashley pulled her into his chest, holding her close. He kissed her hair softly. "Please… Please forgive me… take me back, please."

Kristina didn't have to think twice about melting into his chest. She sobbed silently and nodded just lightly. Ashley cupped her cheek and looked at her before he pulled her into a long, loving kiss full of emotion and love. They wrapped their arms around each other, clutching onto each other as if their lives depended on it, their tongues dancing to the rhythm of love.

When they parted, their lips were kiss stained. Ashley softly brushed the tears away with his thumb and promised her he would break up with the other as soon as possible, and they would be together again, just like before. He promised he would never hurt her again, and she forgave him. She wanted nothing more than that.
